Courses
I've always enjoyed learning new topics, which has grown my knowledge outside of school. Whenever I come across a topic that interests me, I like to explore it further instead of just leaving it at what I've been taught in class. That's what led me to start taking online courses from different universities.
I didn't choose these courses because I felt I had to I chose them because I genuinely wanted to understand how things work. Whether it was engineering mechanics, product design, artificial intelligence, prototyping, or 3D printing, each course answered questions I had and introduced me to ideas I hadn't come across before.
A lot of what I learned has naturally found its way into my own projects. While designing products, working on CAD models, carrying out internships, or even researching new manufacturing methods, I often find myself applying concepts that I first learned through these courses.
I know there is still a lot for me to learn, but that's exactly what I enjoy about engineering. The more I learn, the more curious I become. These courses are simply a reflection of that curiosity and my habit of learning beyond the classroom whenever I find something that genuinely interests me.

Introduction to Engineering Mechanics
This course introduced me to the fundamental principles of engineering mechanics that form the foundation of mechanical engineering. I developed an understanding of forces, moments, equilibrium, and free-body diagrams while learning how engineers analyse and solve real-world structural and mechanical problems. The knowledge gained has strengthened my analytical thinking and supports my work in CAD, product design, and engineering projects.

AI for Design and Optimization
This course explored how Artificial Intelligence is transforming modern engineering design. I learned how AI can assist in optimizing products, improving design efficiency, analysing large datasets, and supporting engineering decision-making. The course expanded my understanding of how emerging technologies are being integrated into mechanical engineering and product development.

Engineering and Product Design Processes
This course provided a comprehensive understanding of the engineering design process, from identifying a problem to developing, prototyping, testing, and refining a solution. I learned the importance of user-centred design, systematic problem-solving, collaboration, and iterative development. The concepts I gained have been directly applicable to my own engineering projects, including CAD modelling and product development.

3D Printing Technology Deep Dive and Use Cases
This course provided an in-depth understanding of additive manufacturing and its growing role in modern engineering. I explored different 3D printing technologies, materials, design considerations, and real-world industrial applications. The knowledge I gained has helped me better understand rapid prototyping, product development, and how additive manufacturing is transforming industries such as aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and consumer products.

Prototyping
This course focused on the importance of prototyping within the engineering design process. I learned how engineers convert concepts into functional models through iterative design, testing, and refinement. The course strengthened my understanding of prototype development, evaluating design performance, gathering user feedback, and improving products before final production. These skills have been directly applicable to my own CAD designs, 3D printing projects, and engineering coursework.

This course introduced me to the fundamental principles of thermodynamics and energy transfer, exploring how energy moves between systems and how it can be transformed from one form to another. I developed an understanding of concepts such as temperature, heat, work, energy conservation, and thermodynamic systems, and learned how these principles apply to real-world engineering problems. The course strengthened my foundation in mechanical engineering by helping me understand the role of energy and its transfer in engines, machines, power systems, and other engineering applications.

This course introduced me to the ethical responsibilities of engineers and the role of ethics in engineering decision-making. I explored topics such as professional responsibility, safety, sustainability, risk, fairness, and the impact of engineering decisions on society. The course strengthened my understanding of how engineers must balance technical performance with ethical and social considerations, while emphasizing integrity, accountability, and responsible innovation. It helped me develop a broader perspective on designing and developing technologies that are safe, sustainable, and beneficial to society.

This specialization developed my understanding of engineering and product design processes, rapid prototyping, and additive manufacturing. I learned how to move from design concepts to physical prototypes, evaluate different prototyping methods, and understand the capabilities and limitations of 3D printing technologies. I explored how factors such as material, process, and application influence the selection of an appropriate manufacturing method. The course strengthened my practical understanding of 3D printing as a tool for engineering design, testing, iteration, and product development.
