This suggests that while technology improves physical health, it also creates mental health risks, particularly in younger populations. indicates that psychological wellbing should be boosted.
In addition, the swift advancements of (AI) and automation raised questions regarding the significance of human decision making and employment. Reports from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD, 2023) state that AI driven systems are highly relied upon in the recruitment for many firms, such as law enforcement, healthcare prioritization, and financial services. While these benefits in improved efficiency and decision-making, they also introduce risks like algorithmic bias and human oversight. These can result in unfair hiring or disproportionately marginalize communities in the workplace. Therefore, without proper management, driving technology in economicnial and social factors might not be efficient.
From a labour force perspective, technology is helping humans to reshape their skills. Whereas the corporate data may not fully state that the integration of advanced technologies has a gradual pace compared to developed nations. Automation has also helped enhance the productivity of the production of goods and resources. This lowers costs, provides faster services, and better availability of products to individuals. This makes human life easier and more efficient. Automation makes dangerous jobs safer. By using machines and robots to handle high-risk tasks such as mining and disaster-zone inspections, which ultimately helps save human lives.
Overall, technology was transformative, but the global impact is uneven. While healthcare, productivity, and connectivity have improved globally, benefits depend on equal access and responsible use. Without which, tech may deeply imbalance the world.

Which were previously time consuming and complex. This allowed citizens to receive services and digital documentation more conveniently.
One of the most visible human impacts can be observed in digital finance in India. India’s digital payments have transformed how people pay in the economy. National Payments Corporation of India (2024), states that the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) now processes more than 14 billion transactions every month, which allows citizens to make secure and fast payments without needing bank visits or cash. For rural households and low income populations, fintech tools like Aadhaar-enabled Payment Systems (AEPS) have provided financial incorporation to people who were previously excluded from banking. This has empowered millions of citizens by promoting savings, remittances, and making government subsidies more accessible.
Technology also morphed a country's education. For example, during the COVID-19 online platforms like SWAYAM and DIKSHA in India, enabled students across the country to learn from home. UNICEF India (2023) reports state that digital learning supported nearly 250 million students in India in education and enhancing skills. This demonstrates how technology empowered education during a national crisis. For students, this meant access to lessons, teachers, and study materials. The edtech market is valued at about 7-8 billion $ in 2024 and is expected to grow to around 29-30 billion dollars by 2030. This comparison shows that even with high growth rates. Indicating that the edtech sector is mainly a supplement to traditional education.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Internet Crime Report (2023), it reported that cybercrime losses in America reached record levels, with individuals affected by identity theft, ransomware attacks, online fraud, and data breaches. This course exposes individuals to face significant financial losses and emotional distress as victims. This makes it hard to restore trust in digital systems. Technology has also erased the boundaries between personal and professional life. With the wide use of smartphones, emails, and remote working tools , this made many Americans feel pressured to remain constantly available. According to a study in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (2023) continuous digital connectivity is strongly linked to higher stress levels, sleep deprivation, and emotional exhaustion. This burns the energy of people and creates negative effects on overall well being. Technology has impacted nations in various ways, such as finance, education and other services. Especially in daily Indian life, which is more efficient and inclusive. However, it has also created challenges for nations, such as cybercrime and the digital divide. Researching these issues has changed me significantly in how I view technology as a huge role in human life. At first, I recognized technology mainly as a source of convenience which made learning easier, entertainment more accessible, and communication. However, by exploring global and national perspectives, I came to an understanding that technology is far more influential in shaping an individual in many ways. On a personal level, knowing more about technology has greatly benefited me in understanding the learning about platforms that enhanced my knowledge and communication skills on this topic. At the same time, this research made me understand the risks of technology, such as excessive screen time and health issues caused by it. As a result, I will now approach technology with more responsibility and productive use.Despite exploring a wide range of perspectives on this topic, the further research can be done on other topics like Cultural impact, Industrial impacts and impact on poverty caused by technology, and etc. These concepts might open a different view on the topic and make the report more diverse and informative. I could have used secondary sources, which would provide a different perspective on the topic. This concludes that while the research was in depth and had a wide perspective. The report should also focus on improving the use of more specific case studies, as well as by comparing viewpoints from different regions to make the investigation more comprehensive.

Technology like smartphones, robotics and artificial intelligence has transformed how the society communicates globally and the impact is significant on humans as tech is not equally distributed among all individuals, often widening social and economic inequalities between different income groups. However, the impact has both advantages and disadvantages, depending on access and use.
On a global level, technology has developed so much that digital tools and resources have made life easier. According to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU, 2024) approximately 5.4 billion people “67% of the world population” use the internet. The other ‘one third’ of the world remains digitally excluded emphasizing that technological progress benefits the connected population way more than marginalised groups. This indicates that while technology increases global connectivity it also deepens inequality for those without access, leaving them excluded from social and economical opportunities.
